Personal Session Follow-up
Use the conversation to think further. Take the coaching into your next decision. Use AI to widen the possibilities, rehearse a difficult challenge and expose what your first explanation misses. Keep your own reasoning visible.
Consolidate the Learning
Choose a real task or decision. Write your initial view, then ask for a credible alternative and what would change your mind.
Method
Step | What to do |
POC | Problem, Outcome, Context | Frame the problem, the useful outcome and the context, including who the result is for. Ask AI to challenge the problem statement itself. |
IMP | Improve My Prompt | Ask AI what is missing, then explore a different framing or an unfamiliar analogy. Develop the useful idea and challenge its limits. Keep your own contribution in the conversation. |
V&V | Validate and Verify | Check that the answer serves the outcome. Open the sources, test important claims and seek counter-evidence. You remain responsible for the judgement. |
Prompt to Try
Here is my strategy and my own view: [context]. Imagine it is three years later. In one plausible future the strategy succeeded; in another it failed. What went right, what went wrong and which early decisions mattered? Offer a third route inspired by a different industry and explain where the analogy breaks. Label these as scenarios, not forecasts. Ask me which assumptions we should test now.
Review
Try the method on one immediate task and one larger decision. What did you notice, create or reconsider that you had not seen at the start? Keep the evidence and your final reasoning.
Carry Forward
Keep a useful conversation, a correction and your next opportunity to practise. Reinvest any time released in work that matters.
