Method

Future hindsight makes it easier to question a plan you know well. Explore success and failure, then use an analogy from another industry to find a different route. These are scenarios to examine, not forecasts to accept.

Example

“Improve our strategy presentation” becomes “Imagine we are looking back three years from now. What went right, what went wrong and what should that make us reconsider today?”
